Jungyoon Um obtained her BFA and MFA from Ewha Womans University College of Fine Arts. She lectured at Ewha Womans University College of Fine Arts from 1956 to 1992. She pursued her works to build a bridge over the gaps between the past and present. Sho also participated in numerous curated exhibitions and group exhibitions.
